The Big Three

Off-line - The user programs the robot via writing software, or manipulating a virtual model of the robot when the machine is offline.

Lead-Through - The robot is programmed via a Teaching Pendant where each motor is moved one at a time until the desired motions and routine are achieved.

Walk-Through - The robot is programmed by a human physically manipulating the it to perform a task while placed in teaching mode.

More information about the different types of robot programming can be found under the Programming In The Industry drop down.
